I saw this
video a few days ago and I‘m still thinking about it. Maybe you‘ve seen it
because it is quite old, but then at least you can sing along! When I googled
Jenny Wilson I discovered that she was a guest vocalist on the Knife's album
Deep Cuts (which we love). This Swedish singer gal also studied graphic design in
one of my dream schools, Konstfack. So clearly she is now a new FAVORITE. Enjoy!
I'm super excited about these fashion films, can't wait to see more!
I missed you extra much today when taking a round in the KronKron store without you. I saw a dress there that I want to live in. It's from Tsumori Chisato - no surprise there. But what was surprising is the fact that, after a long search, I can't seem to find it on the internet. Instead I'll show you images of her wonderful prints.
I'll keep looking for an image of the dress and show you as soon as possible!
I went to Topshop yesterday, as promised, and the Meadham Kirchhoff collection did not live up to my expectations.Sad for me, but good for my wallet since they were quite expensive.I do like the way they usually do ‘messy and torn’ but those dresses had threads hanging from the hemline and glimmer everywhere.. It might have passed when I was in my Velvet Goldmine phase 10 years ago, when it was cool to have random glimmer stuck on your body, but not now.Or maybe.. maybe glimmer is coming back! It´s been a decade! J
I wish glam rock was back in fashion..
Anyway…I randomly went into a Whistles store after Topshop... this shop might as well be my closet. There is nothing in there that I wouldn´t wear. I love to wear casual, comfortable, sporty inspired clothes, and that’s ALL they do.Check out their spring 2010 collection NOW!
I love the Hjaltalín song! I´m listening to it now while wondering if I should stay inside and study (pre-collection coming up in 3 weeks!) or go outside and enjoy the 22 degree heat and sun! It´s SUMMERTIME in London
This blog is quite different from the others because this time I have to ask you to close your eyes after pressing play and NOT look at the hideous image at the youtube link.
The song on the other hand is FAR from hideous. I've been listening to Terminal, the new Hjaltalín cd non-stop. This song always gets me moving my feet under the table and singing along.
