We have to start sending more blogs back and forth. This is the begining of a new blog-era..
Last weekend I took some photos for my talented friend Alexía Rós of my beautifull friend Dýrfinna. Alexía Rós made the jumpsuit and jacket Dýrfinna is wearing. We had a lot of fun takeing the photos although it was freezing cold outside. I already showed you the digital photos I took at the Reykjavík harbor but yesterday I got the film photos developed. Here is the result..
Hey babe... Thanks for the photos! I am super-duper busy, like you said.. project 'pre-collection' is a killer. Only 3 days to go till execution.
I always save pictures that I find interesting when browsing the internet, and I just realized that I have a huges collection of indians. It´s just random photos that I have found in the past months and I think you will like them, since you like taking photos in black and white. Also, I think images like these are influencing a lot of fashion today.. The texture is so rich and the jewelry is amazing, all hand made and unique.
I don´t know where this last photo came from, it looks new.. pretty nice huh? ;)
Since I know you are super-duper busy, I'm going to try to keep this dying blog of ours alive these next two weeks.
I've been spending the last hour looking through the work of a certain Angelo Penneta...
Angelo Pennetta is a British photographer. He studied (among other schools) in London College of Printing, Central St Martins, Camberwell College of
Art. For three years he assisted no other than the photography duo Mert and Marcus. In 2008 he left them and started to focus on his own work. As you can see by these photos, that was a goooood decision!
